Hope you all enjoyed the day! The Kirkby T de Y Facebook has an extract of the TV coverage in our Parish -  and various photos to see.

The local committee who co-ordinate events have now published their final accounts which are available here: TOUR DE YORKSHIRE ACCOUNTS 2019..pdfThe committee would like to place on record its thanks to Harrogate Borough Council for their grant assistance - funding totalling £2,100 went to the Parish Council, School, Mechanics Institute and Highside Playing Fields. In addition 900m of bunting was donated by HBC which was also used when the UCI World Championship Elite Time Trial came through Kirkby Malzeard in September.

Kirkby Malzeard was nominated in Best Dressed Village category awards this year and whilst we didn't win the fact that we were nominated shows that our efforts as a community were noticed by others. Thnaks to everyone who did vote.
