NIDD ART TRAIL - SOUTH PARK POTTERY - Sally is opening the Pottery this weekend and next weekend as part of Nidd Art trail - 10.30am to 4.30pm each day.

MONDAY AUGUST 20

PARISH COUNCIL - The monthly meeting has been brought forward by a week to avoid the Bank Holiday. It will be held at the Mechanics Institute in Kirkby from 7.15pm.

TUESDAY AUGUST 21

PILATES - New class for beginners starting this evening at Kirkby School at 6.15pm - contact Joanne on 07712453348 for more details. Other classes are held in the village - see the Mechanics Regular Events page for link to Nidderdale Fitness's website.

SATURDAY 25, SUNDAY 26 AND MONDAY 27 AUGUST

NIDD ART TRAIL - South Park Pottery in Kirkby (10.30am to 4.30pm) and Richard and Jean Turner at Greygarth, Dallowgill (10am to 4pm) are both open this Bank Holiday Weekend as part of this trail. SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 1

FLOWER AND PRODUCE SHOW - The Schedule and entry forms are now available from Kirkby Stores and the Mechanics Institute or you can download them from the News page of this website if you wish. Entries need to be back for Saturday 18 August 9pm - please take part - there are lots of different classes to choose from.

SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 9

LOCAL HISTORY GROUP - The Dallowgill Local History Group will be meeting at Greygarth Chapel at 3pm today. They intend to do further work on the index to Lillian Chandler's book about Dallowgill and Geoff Lobley is bringing along some things he has discovered in the attic! 

SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 23 

CAFE OPEN DAY - The Roselea Tea Rooms in Kirkby Malzeard will be open today from 10am to 4pm to raise funds for St Michael's Hospice.  Light refreshments will be served. Tombola, Books and Cakes. Everyone welcome.
